Falling Animals by Sheila Armstrong: Heartbreaking, salt-drenched story of the chances we miss

Back in 2009, on June, 16 — Bloomsday, no less — the body of an unidentified man was found on Rosses Point beach in Co Sligo. He carried no belongings and no ID. Even after a lengthy garda inquiry, neither his identity nor cause of death was found.
