There’s a great bit in TV comedy The Young Ones where Rik is watching a terrible piece of youth programming called Nozin’ Aroun’ in which there is a vox pop of 16-year-olds on the street to find out what is important to them. One by one they all outline how unfair it is that they can vote, marry, or join the army, but are too young to drink in a pub.
