One neighbourhood that is becoming increasingly popular in recent years is Harold’s Cross. Located in the south west of the city, this lively area was often overlooked in the past thanks to its proximity to residential strongholds such as Rathmines and Terenure. However, Harold’s Cross has its own charm and appeal.

Excellent location

If you want to live in an area that is bustling in its own right but still close to the city centre then Harold’s Cross really should be at the top of your list. It's near the canal which means you can easily zip around the city’s south sideor pop into nearby Rathmines or Kimmage to get your groceries.
