Russia’s Putin tells Brazilian president Lula he is open to peace talks on Ukraine – on his terms

Russian president Vladimir Putin told his Brazilian counterpart Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in a call that Russia was open to dialogue over Ukraine, the Kremlin said yesterday, shortly after Russia’s foreign minister Sergei Lavrov welcomed a Chinese peace envoy to Moscow.
